Hello. Pleased to meet you here!

My name is Najlah Ghalbouni. I am a registered psychologist who has lived through and risen from narcissistic abuse.

My involvement in a “narcissistic” relationship was in the beginning of my training. I was not aware about the trauma bond, nor did I know about the impact of narcissistic abuse. I only discovered what they meant and their impacts through my experiences in my narcissistic relationship. Unfortunately, surviving from a narcissistic relationship was not part of my training.

It/’s hard to believe how anyone could submit themselves to be degraded and humiliated into something they feel is not worth existing. But as a matter of fact, it happens in most narcissistic relationships without us realizing it. However, those of us who have been there know just how easy this could happen without us even knowing. This is not because we are weak, but because we are being manipulated to think that we are.

I am aware that there is little research on the impact of narcissistic abuse and on scientifically formulated healing programs. However, there are so many scientifically validated tools that deal with trauma, addiction, self compassion, unhelpful thoughts, mindlessness, anxiety, depression, complex trauma and so on. In fact, in my journey, I have proven these tools to be useful.

Furthermore, as a psychologist, I had a distinct advantage in accelerating my own healing. In addition, my knowledge of Neuroplasticity as an established scientific phenomena also proved to be an advantage. I was aware that if I will engage in COMMITTED ACTION with a distinct set of tools, my life could completely go back to normal.

Through my experiences and expertise, I was able recognize when my own clients were experiencing narcissistic abuse. I was able to identify those who were terribly trauma bonded. As a result, I was able to assist them in their healing by providing them with the tools, strategies and processes at their disposal.
